Grandma's girls

These girls just LOVE grandma! Melissa and Kayla bought her a tea party set for her birthday and they could hardly wait to play with it!

St. Patty's Day

Happy (late) St. Patty's day! I totally forgot that it was yesterday until after breakfast which means it was a fast dash to get something for the Leprechauns to leave for the girls during nap. It was a busy, hectic day with the girls trying their hardest to help us with EVERYTHING. I guess the best way to sum up our day would be to say that while I was shampooing the carpets, Kayla finger painted her WHOLE body with poop. That would be about how our whole day went. At least when she was done she went to get a wipe to clean herself!

You will NOT believe this story...

Melissa can tell quite the interesting story! Listen to her imagination go... (I know the video is dark, but listen to her talk!) Poor thing... I think she thinks about puking too much.

Too cute...

The girls had SO much fun playing dress up today... Kayla did her best to dress herself. They are SOOO cute!

Rainy Day Fun...

The girls and I are quite good at finding things to do when the weather is yucky outside. This afternoon we pulled out our 10,000 Mr. (and Mrs.) Potato Head pieces and played for about an hour. These are some of our creations.

Where is Kayla?

Yesterday afternoon while I was putting away clothes I suddenly realized that Kayla had been quiet for a LONG time. I went on a search for her but couldn't find her anywhere... until I heard some quiet singing... this is what I found... Then, later I couldn't find either girl... this is where they were... (I REALLY do watch my children) Fun Times!

Orange Juice

Last night (before I left for Young Women's) I had Melissa and Kayla squish up some oranges. I cut a hole in the top of each orange, stuck in a straw and watched their faces. HeeHee! They could hardly believe what was happening. After a few minutes Melissa said, "Hey, I didn't know orange juice came from oranges!" She called grandma and daddy to let them in on the knowledge too! It helped to remind me that though she is brilliant, I still need to take the time to explain things to her and Kayla. Out of the mouths of babes!

Playing Daddy-O

The girls have been missing Daddy-O heaps today and decided that it would be best if they "played Daddy"... so, they put on his shoes and their best Daddy voices and walked around saying Daddy things like, "I need my hammer." It was SO cute!

Outfits from CiCi

These are the two new outfits that Aunt CiCi sent the girls today. They were SO excited to get the package in the mail that we didn't even make it back to the house... we sat in the middle of the front yard and opened it. They LOVE them and yes, CiCi knows what I like... matching outfits!!!
